So I am planning to lie down on the railway track in a secluded spot at night, dozing on Amitriptyline ( I will probably take 30 tablets which should be good enough for sleeping while I get run over by the train.) How's that for a ctb plan? Any suggestion would be appreciated. The only thing I am afraid is someone finding me lying on the track and push me over. Otherwise, I am good to go. Any suggestions or modification will be greatly appreciated. I am planning to do this pretty soon. I previously tried OD on Amitriptyline itself which only made me end up in hospital.

I was on amitriptyline for over 4 years and it eventually gave me memory loss. I did drink with it also a fair bit, but it is an effective sedation drug. I only used to take 50mg and it used to knock me out. As to your ctb plan, I can't say for sure. Some people may object to this method of ctb because it involves traumatising someone else who has nothing to do with you. I can kind of understand that way of thinking but it also depends how desperate you are. Desperate times equals desperate measures for some people . You could be found by someone before you get hit by the train . Ultimately it's your choice . Would you also have some alcohol with the amitriptyline as that can enhance the amitriptyline effect

They might see you, stop the train, and send you to a mental hospital, where negligent staff members (as is so common in modern psychiatric facilities) will fuck up your brain even more.

Hi, thanks for your reply. Alcohol consumption in public is not allowed in where I live. But I will be having my regular medicine (clonazipum, Lithium Carbonate, Quitiapine) along with the amitriptyline for high sedative effect. I hope I will be getting a good eternal sleep and never get out of it. Again thank you for your suggestion. My only concern is I don't get found by anyone before I get hit by the train. I did think about other ctb method but I can't find anything full proof than this. I am afraid to jump from height. Too heavy to get a full hanging. Hope I can end this suffering once and for all.

The other concern I can think of is the train potentially waking you up and you try to crawl out of the way and get clipped by it, leading to life-altering injuries rather than death.

Appreciate all of your advice. Again thank you all.

Thanks. I think I will have to come up with something more effective.

I definitely don't want that. Maybe I have to come up with something more effective.

while intoxicated, you will not think clearly (like "i need to keep my head on the tracks") - you will just lay there and sleep and not care about your position at all. In which case you may end up without an arm or leg, not a good method.

I don't agree with our suicide plans including others! If this is successful, just imagine the driver on the train the amount of trauma they will feel forever. I also think the horn from the train will wake you up no matter how sleepy and sedated you are. By time you are seen by the conductor, the train won't be able to stop. Please find another method that doesn't include others.

Every method involves others beloved ones first and all the rest, one less one more
And I have a close friend in police, i can tell you ppl can get over very easily about unknown people death

Wolf girl has raised a good point. You can't always control what a half conscious dizzy mind does at the last second. Adrenaline makes you do unplanned things even with a clear mind.
