Discussion Losing connections

I was wondering how everybody thought about this, having been here for a couple of weeks, I have found it very easy to make connections with people and become invested in their struggles. But at the back of my mind is the fact that many of these people will disappear from my life, without me ever knowing their name, what they looked like etc.
I suppose I just find it sad that while we all bond on here over very personal things, we have to do it anonymously because of how society deems us.

I very much agree. Being here, most of the connections that I have made feel more genuine than those I have or had in real life. At least I found people here that can relate and have no hidden agenda.

It takes a very long time for me to get attached to someone.
