Discussion Looking for a little feedback on a note i would like to leave behind.

This is what i have so far. Does it sound to cold and/or selfish? I decided not to got into a 5 page thing about this, that and the other thing. I just want to keep it short and try not to make anyone feel they are to blame for me CTB. And let them know this was my choice.

I'm sorry for any grief my actions may have cause anyone, that was not my intention.
Please don't me sad over this..it was just my time to move on from here and try to find my peace.
I would prefer to be cremated also.

I know what you mean. I've tried so many times to say what i want.. but it all sounded like rambling gibberish. So i decided something short to try and sum it up. I just wanted to try and let everyone know this was my choice and no one else had anything to do with it.

I understand your point. But unfortunately i do feel sorry. I guess maybe i still have some compassion left in me. Who knows what i will feel after though.

How do you think you're responsible for how your life turned out? I don't consider it compassion but instead relying on a belief that you're making a choice and you weren't forced into your situation. I don't think you should be sorry for ending a painful life for you. Maybe you could be vocal about that and then the people you have compassion for would have better understanding of why you ended your life. Otherwise they might think you're to blame in some way for their sorrow.

I am responsible for my actions, not for me being born.
I didn't think i said i was sorry for ending a painful life, just that i was sorry for any grief my actions may have caused any one.
I was hoping what i wrote "it was just my time to move on from here and try to find my peace. " might have said why i was doing what i did.

I've already written so many notes about why, what how.. and it all seems to be rambling on. I felt it was best to stop rambling and just state what i feel.

I do appreciate your input though.

I disagree with that belief but it's your letter. Anyway just giving my feedback and you're right to keep it simple. You know what's best for the people you want to express your emotions to anyway.

It's never dumb to say what you feel. But If people care about you a note is something but they will still feel awful. No point in asking them not to but then it's reasonable to express that feeling.
It's certainly not cold. It's such a personal thing it's hard to advise. For me, I'd explain why. Id think that's what people ask. Why? What did we do wrong? What could we have done to help? You've hinted at things to explain that but it's very short. Maybe some specifics so they understand?

To be honest. I have no idea what is best to for anyone. I'm just trying to leave no doubt in anyone's mind that they may have caused this, because they didn't. I fucked up all on my own.

I've tried countless times to try and explain why. But it's so hard to try and condense everything without me rambling. As you know..i am not the most gifted speaker. I do understand that it is very personal and was just looking for a little feed back on how it sounded.

Thank you for your words. It's just seeing the words on paper in my own writing kind of hit me. Spewing it out on text was one thing.. seeing it is another.

You also can wait till a few moments until the ctb time, so maybe you can write and and just don't pay so much attention to it.

Well that is why i would like to get it done prior. Playing around with testing, mixing, make sure everything is in order first before i CTB .. i don't want to just spew it out while trying to get other things prepared.
That's one reason i thought about not even leaving a note.
