Hey, so I suppose this is just going to be a jumbled ramble. I found this site just a couple of days ago and I see what an amazing community of people come here and help and share each other in good times but more importantly through the worst of times.
And it just got me thinking about how alone I am, being on the spectrum has meant that I have always found it hard to make friends and keep them. So basically I don't have any. I have a very very small family too, just my mum and older sister and my dog.
As you get older it gets tougher to invite people into your life because the trust is no longer there, especially when you have been messed around on in relationships. So I'm in my 40s and just feel totally alone, this is in no way a cry for help or anything I guess just in finding this site it just showed me there's a community of like minded souls out there and it's something I've never had, so for those of you who have reached out to me since I joined I want to say thank you, it means so much, just wanted you all to know.
Peace and much love to all
