People living alone in a rental property, how do you feel about leaving your rotting corpse to your landlord/landlady after you CTB?

(Remember that after succesfully CTB, you'll abandon your body to become one of the stinkiest, most hazardous, and hardest mess to remove in the involved premises).

Yeah it's gross to think about so I made plans for mine to be as far out of the way as possible.

It's Winter here so hopefully freezing temperatures / snow will mean I am mostly likely a skeleton before anyone stumbles across me if they ever do.

I plan to book a hotel with a warning sign at the entrance of the room, not because I don't want to give the landlord troubles but because I don't want to leave my rotten body eaten by bugs and rats anywhere. I like a clean departure.

If I were to CTB indoors, I'd probably have a tarp under myself so that all the mess is limited to that area and is easy to remove.

When the day comes, I will do it in a hotel room. I will schedule an automated message to all my family members few hours after my CTB to call the police. My body will basically be found early, maybe 3 hours after my ctb.

I like your idea, but wouldn't you run the risk of getting found out, getting rescued, and eventually becoming a drooler that way?

I'm not going to bore you with details:

Since my rental apartment doesn't have a bathtub, I would install a thick plastic in the shower booth that emulates the containing effect of a bath tub.

If you put "Don't Disturb" sign and CTB in the evening or at early night, I think there is a plenty of time before they come in to find your body in the next day. Large hotels and their staff have protocols to follow in the situation. So things will go smoothly and swiftly after your body is found. I think it will work fine if you plan well. At least I am counting on it.
