There's a popular one in North London. I think its called Hornsey Lane Bridge or something. It's only about 100ft which I don't think is high enough, but lots of people have jumped there..

Found it, I'll add it to the list but put unconfirmed under height, it's dubbed the "Suicide Bridge" but I can't find any details on height, will take your word but put unconfirmed in bold. Cheers.

Do you have any exact names, it just pulls up a location in Devon, a small village. Cheers.

Judging from the pictures, it doesn't look like there is any steep drop (looks like a tumble down an inclined cliff if anything). Nor can I find height information. Will leave this one out but will add it if you can gain more information and cite it, cheers.

Any of you guys also interested in the Cliffs of Moher?

I know it's not probably not the same as it's here in Ireland (and quite populated with tourists), but it's still pretty high (155m)

Hey all, just wondering if there is any more locations to add for jumping in the UK.

So far I have:
----------------------------------------------------
Erskine Bridge (45 m (148 ft))

Stockport Viaduct (peak height of 33.8 meters (110.8ft) above the bed of the River Mersey)

Beachy Head (162m (531ft) at highest point) - I think?

Humber Bridge (155.5m (510 ft) - NOT the height of the bridge, but the towers sadly; carry on reading.) EDIT: Humber Bridge is the height of the towers, it's actually only a small drop like the one below. Clearance above high water 30m (~100 ft) Source: https://web.mit.edu/1.011/www/finalprj/aliab-Humber-Bridge_handout.pdf

Hornsey Lane Bridge (30m (100ft) Unconfirmed height)

----------------------------------------------------

Any more to list? Feel free to post and ill edit the above list, those seem to be the prominent spots for jumping in the UK, so no doubt this list is far from complete.

Even though Erskine Bridge and Stockport Viaduct are listed as prominent sites, they pale in comparison to the other two. But they may be easier to get a decent jump spot, more info is welcome to be added.
Beachy is almost a certain mate take a drive down south I remember Stockport but it's been years mate so can't count on they I'm not even going to try and spell them but there's some places in north and central wales palyoud have to look they're not common

More likely to freeze to death mate there
If your gonna do that just go to the east coast up north and jump in the North Sea winters coming you'll freeze to death in about 5-10 minutes won't even have to drown

Added them both, thank you. I put clearance below for the Severn bridge, as the actual height I assume must be from the very top of the towers which says 445 ft (136 m), but the clearance below is 154 ft (47 m) which seems more like the right height, do correct me if I'm wrong.

Beachy does seem to be the winner and most likely pick yeah. Just it's not the easiest jump spot from what I recall, again correct me if i'm wrong.

Alas I want them all listed as a mere resource, people have had success at Hornsey Lane Bridge, even dubbed suicide bridge and that's apparently only 100ft.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe I never heard of a survivor from beach head last story I heard mate was a young couple lost their son and they both just walked hand in hand straight off

I survived because I landed on a ledge 100 foot down and was unable to move the 2 feet to roll off to the bottom.Caused a drama as I was spotted by a walker and rescued by helicopter.I jumped in the dark.Rookie error.Someone recently survived falling 250 foot but they got messed up bad

Thank you, do you happen to know the height of the drop there? I can put it under unconfirmed height if you can't find a source but still know / have a good idea.

If I was a Brit and wanted to jump, I'd pick Beachy Head, near Eastborn, England. Rock cliff / 531 feet high / rocks below. One of the most infamous suicide sites in the UK.

Clifton Suspension Bridge, connecting to Bristol. On wiki it says the clearance below is 75m, and the total height is 101m. It has barriers installed, which again according to wiki has halved but not eliminated suicides. But I don't know what the survival rate is for those who have jumped, nor what the barriers look like. Advantage is that it's open to pedestrians and cyclists as well as vehicles and well accessible from most of England.
