Who here has some sort of paranoia and how does it affect your day to day life?

I don't leave my flat and can not work which leads to total isolation.

It's pretty difficult for me. Sometimes I think it might just be anxiety, I'm not sure. Whatever it is, I have to try and work with it the best I can.

Avoiding things often makes it worse but it seems pretty bad no matter what I do.

Sometimes my paranoid episodes can be debilitating. I can't leave the house. If I have to go to work I change my route so people don't follow me. I've confronted strangers about watching me/filming me with their phones (which they are not doing). I always have mace with me, including next to my pillow (literally in the bed) because I know people are trying to get in. Rationally I know these are all delusions but that doesn't help or make me any less paranoid.
