Little cake on profiles?

I see on some users profiles a little birthday cake .. next to it numbers. What is ir for?

If you go into your profile you can add your date of birth as an option.

But it its probably not wise to add date of birth when one is worried about his privacy.
Date of birth is a strong selector in intelligence speak - together with other weak identifiers like "male", lives in the UK", "was in outpatient treatment for depression this summer" one suddenly becomes very identifiable for authorites or people who know you.

Yeah (imo) adding your actual Date of Birth is not a good idea anywhere online, no hate to the site or the lovely admins ofc but there are some shady fuckers on here occasionally

It only shows your age when others look at it. Your birth month, day and year is not visible to anyone but you.
