i think that it's definitely possible that at least some concerns are raised by the general population and then followed by some sort of protocol for sellers once this method becomes even more popular, this is not such an obscure and unknown method as some people seem to believe, there has been some media coverage on suicides and attempted murders with SN, this method is also experiencing a boom on it's usage so it's only a matter of time before some pro life groups start doing something about it.
but at the same time this is a very, extremely common product used in the food industry and many others. and not only by big companies, this thing is used by fishers who want to preserve caviar and stuff, people who trade with meats and is even used as medicine to the point that the world health organization considers it an essential medicine that treats some forms of poisoning, talking about irony.
so banning it for the very small minority who use it to CTB will compromise millions of people who use it as intended, and since it's so common then it will have great economic repercussions, and at the end of the day, they care way more about money than they do about people.
in short, maybe some people will protest this chemical, but they will most likely get nowhere, at least in most of the world.
