Just read about it in the book "Five Last Acts" and on paper seems awesome. It should produce little to no discomfort and almost everyone should have access to the materials.

You can choose how much pressure you want to apply with a high degree of precision so there's no risk of accidentally compressing the windpipe and feeling like you are choking (wich makes many people unable to go through with partial suspension).

I still haven't done any tests (don't push it too far, you could die by accident if you're not fast enough at removing pressure from your neck) but to me it seems a lot better than partial.

If it actually works it would be awesome... would definetly had ctb this way when hospitalized if I knew it was possible.

Why isn't this more popular or at least more than hanging?

I have been practicing this method and it seems like it's working for me. I have gotten dizzy on my attempts and did not feel like I was choking at all. Didn't want to go too far and die by accident

Just tested it with a shoelace and a spoon while sitting on my bed.

This is amazing! No discomfort at all, was about to black out and started turning the spoon in the opposite way.

Anyone considering hanging, please look into this!
----------
Edit: of course make sure to tie a decent knot, you dont want it to untie when unconscious and risk brain damage.
------
Edit 2: I could literally do it right now but before CTB I at least want to get drunk for the last time. Guess I'm going to sleep now (12:39 here).

Care to share a good tutorial? I've read up on it before but haven't understood the logistics

Care to share a good tutorial? I've read up on it before but haven't understood the logistics

In the book (you can find it in PDF for free) is explained very clear with images, I suck at giving instructions but I'll try.

Basically what I did is putting a shoelace around my neck, above my adam's apple and tie a knot that doesn't apply any pressure and leaves enough space to vertically insert a spoon between the shoelace and my neck.
At this point start rotating the spoon (of course you can use another object if you want to) until you feel dizzy but you are still able to breathe normally. Lay down on your bed, you'll lose consciousness in a few seconds and die in 2-4 minutes.

If you rotate the spoon/whatever you choose to use not enough times you'll end up compressing only the veins that carry the blood from the brain to the heart. You'll still die because not enough oxygenated blood will arrive to the brain (accumulated pressure in the blood vessels) but it might feel uncomfortable like your head is going to explode. You need 3.2 kg of pressure to compress the carotid arteries and almost 5 times as much to compress the windpipe.

Don't be afraid to apply pressure, you won't feel like you are choking.

I know this is a old thread but can anyone on this forum tell me if this is worth trying? Is it as easy as it sounds?

Alright, nevermind. This method sucks.

I did it how it was described. I put a shoelace around my neck, tied a knot that doesn't apply any pressure and leaves enough space to vertically insert a spoon between the shoelace and my neck. Then I put a spoon in between the shoelace and my neck, and rotated the spoon clockwise, but all this did for me, was pinch the skin on my neck.

I tried the method 5 times, it's useless because there's a limit to how much you can rotate the spoon.
