• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

Life is not fair. People often say this phrase, but I don't think they have ever think (or feel) deeply about it. I've personally come into conclusion that the fact that life is unfair in itself, should already be obvious that it's not a good thing. There are people who suffer immensely, but on the other side of the spectrum, there are people who live happily. Where's the goodness in that? It can only be 'good' if you're lacking empathy, to be honest. And this also extends to the nature & animal world as well. It's eat or be eaten world. I don't know if whether god exists or not (& the same with all any other 'spirituality' universe systems such as karma, Law of Attraction, etc2). but if it does, then I honestly think/feel that this existence is just not a 'good' one, let alone a 'perfect' one (nor the "best possible world" argument made by some people). It's not heavenly, paradise, nor utopian. It's not a sunshine & rainbow world. Wake up to reality! It's harsh, cruel, cold, limiting, stupid, absurd, chaotic, & depressing.

Exactly this. It's a phrase that so many say. That so many parents say. But it's like- so- it's all just a crapshoot lottery- you're admitting? So, why expose a sentient being to that much risk? Seems utterly bizarre.

I think the worst is- they seem to use it to explain the bad stuff- I'm sorry you've developed cancer or, lost you job and home but hey- life isn't fair. Like- that really isn't good justification! You simply don't bring someone into this if you realise it isn't fair- surely?

What I suppose they mean is- life isn't fair and, you're going to have to accept those terms- just as I did. How fair is that though? What if we won't accept those terms? Is it then 'fair' for us to decide to leave? (Suicide.) Apparently not because, that's then not 'fair' on them.

100% agreed and I personally don't accept that phrase, yet people say we have to. I believe life is wrong. If life is not fair, we shouldn't be forced to accept it. Because how can we knowingly accept something which is not fair? If a game isn't fair, do we accept it and play by unfair rules? No, same way we should not live by unfair rules. And I believe the universe is greater than life. Ultimately, the universe will be the judge over life, and our spirits need to be alignment with that greater power, whatever that is, and within ourselves. We know what is right and wrong, and should be allowed to follow that path, the one that makes sense in the greater scheme of things.

I think at core existence is not fair. Some being are born just to be eaten by bigger beings to begin with.
Fairness is just a human fabrication, an utopia of sort we only find in games, and even then we trample on it ourselves since every games have their cheaters in it.

It truly is, it's just so cruel and horrific to me how there's all this suffering in existing with no limit as to how much agony one can feel, I'd personally always prefer to not exist no matter what. I see existence as an abomination that just causes suffering all for the sake of it and problems there were never a need for, I'd just never wish to be burdened with this existence, I personally find it so dreadful to exist in this reality where there's all this endless cruelty.

This makes me think even (more) deeper & existential/philosophical: Is this really the "best of all possible worlds"? Why things have to be this way? Why couldn't there be a better existence than this? If there is something than nothing, or if something really comes out from nothing, then why it has to be *this* type of existence? If there is a god, why can't He/She/It (whatever It is) create a much better existence than this one? Maybe that's why almost all & every religions & spirituality in the world have this "afterlife/heaven/paradise/nirvana" theories? Because we as human beings simply just want/imagine/hope/dream of a much *better* existence than this one?
