Life is a fucking joke. Our society survives on science and technology yet almost all people believe in things that have no evidence (religion is the biggest one). You spend 12 years in school, which is the biggest fucking bullshit. It's a complete waste of time, you could learn everything you learned in school in 4 or 5 years at most if the teachers were competent, and if they took out all the bullshit classes. And on top of that you have bullying and kids treating each other like shit. Then you might spend another 3 or 4 years at university so you could get a degree. If you study business you'll end up in a bank robbing clueless people in 3rd world countries, or maybe work for a company like amazon writing reports on dildo sales. If you study arts you're going to continue the cycle, and become the annoying english teacher that wastes everyone's time. Let's say you are bright and you study a science or engineering. The best thing that could happen is that you're going to work for a company like Google, a company that uses the combined effort of some of the smartest people on the planet to create a fucking search engine. Or work for social media, which is a perversion of human nature's social aspect, essentially wasting people's time on useless crap like attention and approval seeking. Or maybe you'll work for a video game company which is basically just creating gimmicks. To make matters worse, most people are sacrificing their health or time to acheive these "goals". I fell into this trap. What is even the point of technology and science? Computers are essentially for gaming and porn, phones are for porn and social media. Medicine is basically trying to cure diseases which are almost entirely avoidable (like heart disease). People are not willing to change, and are willing to take their beliefs and traditions with them to the grave. Things like eating habits and diets and traditions and religious beliefs etc. are passed on thoughtlessly. It's almost as if most people do not have the ability to question things or think for themselves and seek answers, yet we are a species that pride ourselves for intelligence. People look at all what we have today in awe, but they do not realize that relatively, we are living in the past. I am definetly not seeing the world of which I would like to be part of in my lifetime. It might take another couple of hundred or maybe even thousand or so years for humanity to get its head out of its ass, or maybe it never will. Is this all there is to life? Just pointless crap? This would be acceptable if there was no pain or suffering, but if you weight the suffering and pain against the good things life has to offer the scale is greatly imbalanced. Life is not a gift, life is a joke, a sick and twisted one.
