So i was reading an article about how lidocaine toxicity can cause methemoglobinemia. And i had my wisdom tooth bothering me lately so we have a lot of lidocaine topical which can absorb to blood quickly. I think when my SN ctb day comes i will put it around my bed and they might think I've accidentally died by lidocaine overdose. Ik it can sound silly since they get a blood test but in my country no one has ever done SN suicide and they don't know shit about it and methylene blue is also not so accessible. So if i survived perhaps i can get away with the lidocaine accidental OD

The issue is, they treat based on symptoms. I was also the first case in the country, according to the ED doctors and they were able to get toxicologist input and administer methylene blue within a very short period of time. They still didn't know it's by SN.

I was rescued an hour after ingestion, lost consciousness around then. Regained consciousness 3 hours plus later after oxygen therapy and at least a few doses of methylene blue given.

Sorry to hear that, did you had 20-25grams and also how did they found you? did you collapse somewhere or sl kicked in and asked for your yourself, do you think 10 hours of being not found is enough to successfully ctb

I had lesser than that as it was too salty. SI did kick in and I asked for help before collapsing.

10 hours should be enough. My oxygen saturation level dropped to 80 within 1 hour and I was nearly dead when I was brought in. I made a mistake that I won't repeat with my next attempt - I will leave my phone at home, take benzos and tramadol to knock me out when SN kicks in.
