I'm sure tolerance and weight and general health probably have to factor into getting a specific answer but approximately how long do you think it would take to drink yourself to death?

Weeks? I'm talking like nonstop around the clock kind of drinking
Drinking yourself to death would be a difficult feat to do quickly, I imagine. If you binge drink odds are you'll go into an alcohol overdose/poisoning. Your body will begin to expel everything in it to save you, and there isn't much you can do about it. You also will probably blackout multiple times and who knows what you SI will do to you at that time since you aren't in control of yourself anymore.

I have family that lives up in LV, it's an interesting city and I'm not too far from it. Let me know if you ever need someone to talk to.

But how many times do you think someone would be able to survive that if they just kept repeating the cycle?

I appreciate that, but I don't live there. I was just referencing the film. Though I do sort of fantasize about CTB there

Hard to say, my partner is a bartender and we see people do it every night for years and they're still kicking. They're almost all assholes, but they are alive lol. You'd probably get cirrhosis and depending on MELD score you'll CTB sooner/later.

I can't believe the reference flew over my head... Haha! Vegas is a really fun city, living there doesn't seem like something I would enjoy but it's great to visit and tons of people CTB there.

really depends on genetics. not that many people would be able to drink like nic cage's char in that movie. i've done 11 shots of tequila in a row just to win a t-shirt once (friend puked after 9). most people hate the hangover and swear it off so the cycle breaks and the liver does heal. if you don't take to it well, then i would think it'd be a crappy method for you

Ok but what about a seasoned alcoholic?
