Venting Learning about SN was something I didn’t think I need this much.

CTB has always been something I've fantasized about but I've mostly come to the understanding that I'm too lazy or too much of a coward to go through with it. I either have to come to terms with that or eventually kill myself accidentally by doing something impulsive. However, the rabbit hole I went through last night gave me a new level of peace, hope, and ironically excitement. The only barrier as of right now is figuring out all these abbreviations on the website and obtaining it. Once I do get it, I'm probably not gonna do it right away, but having that option would give me peace of mind. Even when I plan on carrying it out, there are things I need to do before making that permanent decision such as emptying my bank account and giving all I have to my sister so the government doesn't snatch it up to pay my debts. I'm naturally an overthinker so once I make the decision, there will be no doubt it'll be the right one.

Your sister might be your legal successor (heir) even without a will and it is possible if she doesn't reject the inheritance that she will still inherit your debt. Keep this in mind and check with your country laws and regulations on that.

totally getcha. before, to ctb was this inevitable but abstract thing, predicated on finding a method that could be tolerated. hanging was my favored method for a long time, but i didn't much like the violence of it, and the risk of SI kicking in and botching the attempt.

like you, knowing about SN gives me peace of mind -- that it's there, should i ever need its services.

I'd also feel at peace and relieved to have the option, all I wish for is a painless way to cease existing and never suffer ever again, I always wish the option to simply die in peace with no more pain and no more suffering is accessible for me. But anyway I wish you the best.
