There's a counterargument for that: But should it be easy to end one's own life? It's an irreversible decision—and it's one you can't contemplate if you've succeeded in doing it. After all, we've evolved to maintain our own survival, and suicide goes against those primal urges.
That said, though, if you're determined to die by suicide, it should happen humanely. There should also be an opportunity to do it openly and discuss your affairs with your family, friends, and associates to prepare them for your death—just as you would for a terminal physical illness—without risking being trundled off to a psych ward and put under suicide watch.
