Most despots are narcissistic. Apparently he is renowned for subjecting people to brutal executions for relative benign crimes, which is a paradox to the belief in the sanctity of life. It is reported that amongst brutal executions, people were thrown to the dogs literally. death by cannon and flame throwers, eg.
When i read reports like this; reinforces my belief that humanity has failed ourselves with war and brutality;
In the name of empires and controlling of people.
Utter tragedy.

Disclosure of suicide notes criticizing country shocks officials, source tells RFA

The problem is that it will make the officials responsible for the suicides.. and this is where the fun ends, because this can involve strong social repression at the same time as being sad or mentally disturbed by everyone around you - with the support of the local authorities-.

Something else to consider... If one commits a crime in North Korea (like running to cross the border to South Korea or China... or suicide in this case) often times if the "criminal"can not be found or dealt with, the family and extended family are the ones who suffer the punishment. Would you CTB if it meant that your family would be punished?
