Discussion Keeping in touch with users outside of the forum?

Have you spoken to users outside of the forum at all? I have with two with my full discretion of course, staying safe about who I share my number with and trust with information. In my experience it was nice speaking to someone about my intentions without sounding crazy...very surreal yet real and genuine.

No, I have not had any contact with users outside the forum.

I am sure there are plenty of genuine, good-hearted people here with whom I would enjoy talking on the phone or sharing photos, but I am also sure that there are scammers and emotional vampires.

So, just to stay on the sade side, I stick to the forum.

No and I believe the feeling is mutual. I like my privacy and I don't think people ever really like me/find me interesting/get close enough to me to want to talk to me.

Honestly I'm surprised when I get PMs or people commenting on my page complimenting me or wanting to engage/talk to me. It's really rare for people to actually find me good enough/interesting enough to talk to and interact with.

People building friendships/bonds/attractions with other people is something other people can do, not me.

I think there's something intrinsically wrong with me and other people can detect it at a subconscious level.

Ive a small handful on social media, but its not under my real name, so I dont mind too much. I dont mail them often, but occasionally check in to see how they are, im not a big talker though

I've met a person some time ago, but they lived in some village (?) overrun by crickets. And then disappeared. I'm unhappy with that person for other reasons, though.
