  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

Me me me but then I get insomnia so I sleep during the day. I actually just woke up from my day sleep. But being awake during the night is less scary for me.

I miss those days in which I could sleep for at least 8 hours so much.
Now, I'm always waiting for my bed time but I can't sleep more than 5 hours :(

I think I've developed a fear of waking up in the morning, so I don't really look forward to sleeping but it's not something I can avoid if I want a chance of functioning at all the next day, if I am unfortunate enough to wake up :mmm:

I developed my sleep disturbances from that same feeling you are describing, the day is so scary I started not sleeping until daybreak but yes one must sleep sometime.

Takes me like half an hour to fall asleep since I think about funny posts I've made on SS and favorite posters. I don't really like or dislike sleeping.

Luckily I don't have insomnia. I literally just stare at the clock each night waiting for the time to be appropriate for me to go lay down.

It's getting harder and harder to be upright at all.

For a minute there I was reliably sleeping at night and awake during the day—for the first time since I was about 10. Now I'm back to sleeping a few hours and then being awake for a few hours, alternating around the clock. I just can't stand the pain of consciousness. It exhausts me. Fortunately, with total circadian chaos I only have to put up with being awake for 6 hours at a time, max.

Maybe I need a pause button for me and the time.

Can't say I love sleep when ptsd also causes nightmares so, but being awake is so much worse :(
