Just ordered Meto- freaking out a bit

Guys, I'm kinda freaking out. On one hand, I was relieved and kind of calm because I could get ahold of some. On the other, I'm worried about it getting confiscated or something. Eek! I didn't want to have to use meto because of potential side effects but as another user mentioned yesterday, many of us have taken lots of meds in our lives that all have potential side effects and we rarely worry about those. I guess knowing you'll be CTBing when you use it or that maybe you'll get side effects and won't be able to CTB adds a layer of worry. Anyway, guess I just needed to get my freak out out of my system. <3 if anyone ordered meto from Greece with smooth sailing as far as it arriving- I'd love reassurance of your experience. how long until it arrived? How was it packaged- was the packaging discreet?, etc. Thanks!

I got mine from a Greek seller about a week ago. The packaging was definitely discreet and it took maybe two weeks or so before it arrived.

I ordered mine from India. They told me 5 to 15 days but I knew it wouldn't be 5, it'd be closer to 2 weeks. I hope there's no problem with customs I'm worried about that myself.

You took lots of meds before without any issues but meto specifically has a black box warning about it causing movement disorders. Research that. Most people are fine but some get bad reactions to meto and some people have gotten permanent dystonia or tardive dyskinesia.

I ordered mine from India. They also told me 5-15 days. It came in two weeks on the dot. I'm in the US and had no trouble. It comes in a discrete little box and didn't look suspicious. Also, meto isn't an illegal substance FYI. So you should be fine, promise

Those of you who are waiting for orders on here have my sympathy and my good wishes for a speedy receipt of your packages. I just went through all of this. In fact, today I just completed the test of my meto and I was a nervous wreck this morning when I took the pill worried that I was going to get some horrible symptoms, but in the end all I got was very sleepy. If any of you decide to test it out, I hope you have good results as well and all it does is make you sleepy.

Oh, I'm so glad you didn't have too many side effects. I'm afraid to try mine and am drawn more so to do the stat dose if my N ever really comes. If I have to fallback on my plan B with SN I guess I'll have to do the 48 regiment, which sucks

Personally I think you have done everything right, please have some confidence with yourself because you really sound like you have your head screwed on in a good way. I wish you much luck.

I ordered from A... who seems to be moving things safety at this time... so another two weeks and it'll hopefully be shipped. And another source which I prefer not to mention at this time.

It's not illegal substance but I was worried because it's not legal to buy without prescription technically. Thanks for the reassurance!

I do fear that but then there's the quandary of using domperidone instead and then you can't take any acid reducer and from what I've read also need to get ahold of an additional med to use with the domperidone. I didn't want to use meto for the same fears but I am trying to hard not to over complicate things. Idk it's hard so I empathize with your worries because I do have my own as well.

Has anyone ever practiced the 48 hrs regimen (+ stat) and reported permanent side effects?

I am hoping Domperidone works. People have vomited even with meto stat dose. And the longer you take it the greater risk of side effects. So if I took meto I wouldn't go further than stat dose which is still a big dose all at once over the recommended 10mg doses so side effects may occur.

Actually, it yesterday morning. It's about 7 AM here now and I'm not completely awake so it was actually almost 24 hours ago now that I did my test.
No, I haven't done any more testing. I'm feeling more confident about the SN method all the time.

Yes, I only did one test with the 10 mg tablet. I had some Benadryl in case something went wrong. Actually, I have no clue if the Benadryl would have worked or not. It's for allergies, so I'm assuming if I had an allergic reaction to something it should at least be of some benefit. I really really hate and don't trust doctors and I can't afford to go to the hospital because that would bankrupt me. If something didn't work out I would've just had to deal with it myself and whatever happens is whatever happens.
No matter what, I will NOT be calling an ambulance or going to a hospital.

As I said, 1). it would bankrupt me and
2) I've been in the psych ward before and it doesn't do anything to help me and in fact it usually makes things worse for me and screws my life up and I just can't deal with that on top of everything else that I'm dealing with right now. I guess if it left me as a vegetable or something like that, then maybe that was what was meant to happen. I don't really expect that though because, as other people have pointed out, the dose of SN is not very much and many people who have vomited some of it out have still died.
I believe it was Stan who pointed out that your stomach is going to be empty when you're taking the SN so it's going to get passed through faster and into the intestine where it will be where it will be absorbed faster than if you were eating something solid or if your stomach was full.

I used this thread for most of my research because he has all the information on the first few pages so you don't have to search through a lot of questions being asked over and over again. And he actually went back and edited it as people were asking questions and making suggestions, so I think it's a fairly thorough thread.

Yep, I read his SN thread a few times and it was helpful. I just have other kinks I need to work out in my plan. Thank you for sharing your story! I suppose since I ordered the meto I'm just going to have to test it and hope for the best as well. A bit nerve wracking is all.
