Because I'm an awful person, which I told her before we started. I told her everyone always leaves. Three years later, I proved her right. I didn't love her enough or the right way. I fought for this but I'm too much of a mess for her.

Never have I had such a deep connection to anyone, and I've been around. Surprisingly, I'm not wanting to ctb anymore than normal, as I'm used to and expected the hurt but it still sucks.

Make it work love her harder tell her the truth just talk like no ones listening and say everything that comes to mind tell her it was the best years of your life if she spent 3 years with you I'm sure she's willing to think about it she may need some time and if she doesn't say she does ask her beg for her to stay and when you get her back you work your ass off to be a better person not for you but for her and realize that she loves you and you've always been enough for her so don't diss on yourself don't go on saying your crap because it may seem like your worthless in your mind but to her your everything and that's all the matters fight for her don't just give up after 3 years

Exactly this, the love of my life left me after 8 years together, I tried my best, I change, I become the best I could, and she still was not "happy", and this hurts a lot, everyone leaves...

I can fully relate to how you feel right now. Lost my 'one' a few months back. Took me over 20 years to find her, only took me two years to destroy it. I don't blame her at all. I'm not going to elaborate or give out any relationship advise (like I'd know!) Do what feels right for you.
