one of our first ever conversations was how death can be better. go figure

his brother said he did it for a purely spiritual reason (believing there's another side and that place is better, he said he might have struggled from schizophrenia) but I feel like there was some hidden suffering involved if one has the commitment to go through with that. Maybe his brother knew him better but I feel like I had caught glimpses of his hidden suffering. he was the type to hide and compartmentalize from his emotions, it seemed like he had a double life and his brother and I can both agree on that… but anyway RIP
