Just bought a gun

It was a rather shady transaction, but I hope it will arrive within a week with the bullets included.
After a lot of research, I think shooting myself in the head is my best bet. I have done some research and it is the most reliable method, it seems - if you discount legally assisted suicide, which is just not an option for us. M

I toyed with the idea of SN for a while. I was very close to ending things with it, but my research showed that it is rather unreliable and could be painful. I also have doubts, because the SN method changes so frequently, so I don't really trust those who have written the handbook.

I'll let you know when the gun arrives. I will have to practice firing it to make sure I don't fuck up.

Anyone know the best place to shoot in the head? Tips would be appreciated.

I am feeling relieved that this will all be over soon. I just want peace. I can't wait to "cross the rainbow bridge" and be with my precious cats once again - if an afterlife exists at all. Oblivion also suits me, though.

You could aim for the brain stem, which controls heartbeat and breathing.



The brain stem may be targeted by aiming through the mouth and slightly upwards.

What ammo will you be using? What kind of gun is it? I can provide some advice, but I would need to know that info to make an intelligent comment.

I bought a Smith & Wesson 686 Model 357. Not sure about the ammo.

Same as yourself. SN initially seemed ideal, ordered and got some earlier this year, but the recent stories of failure I've been hearing on here have been brutal.

Even had issues with N, when D was still around he advised me to go for three bottles as I'm overweight and a heavy long-term drinker, so my metabolism can process toxins much better than the average person.

Finally decided on the firearms route. But, I won't be doing it inside my house as the clean-up is horrific and it would make the property difficult to sell for the beneficiaries of my will. Thankfully I live in a semi-rural area with plenty of outside options.

Positioning of the muzzle of the firearm is crucial. Myself, will be in the inside of the mouth, weapon inverted and aimed upwards. I've seen too many horrific videos on YouTube of people surviving failed attempts with their entire face shot off.
