Hello and welcome to the forum. I'm sorry life has brought you here. I'd say this is a very good place to vent but when it comes to the poll- I agree with @anywhere_else - it's not up to us as to what you decide to do ultimately. To be honest- for anyone who asks: 'Should I CTB?' My immediate reaction is- 'No'. If you can't make the decision yourself, then maybe it isn't time.

I'm guessing I understand though- I'm guessing you've been through a lot and you're really asking- 'Would you CTB in my position?' I'd just say most people here will likey find your reasons valid but ultimately- it doesn't matter what we would do or think. This is your life. I'm sorry it has brought you here.

You are amongst a community who understand and sympathise with the desire to end it all. However, honestly, as others have said, ultimately this is an entirely personal decision.
My own view is that if you are in the position of asking others if you should ctb you shouldn't.

I think if you add that poll then it would probably get taken down, as asking that in a poll wouldn't be appropriate for this site. This is a pro choice website to respect people's decisions that they've already chosen for themselves rather than telling them if they should or shouldn't ctb. I never understand why someone would ask strangers that question anyway, suicide is a completely personal decision and it isn't like other people can experience existing in the same way.

I agree, that is not a survey that any of us here can answer. Only you can make that decision yourself, you can publish every week and vent and based on that make a retrospective yourself, think everything through but make that decision for yourself, you cannot entrust something as definitive as your life to strangers, Furthermore, none of us here would lend an opinion on whether you should do it or not. You are new here, take these days to read and make threads to vent, all of us here are very empathetic, this has meant that many of us are still alive, we came looking for the fastest and least painful way to end everything but passing the days things change and many have even managed to recover. In the time that I have been here, no one has ever encouraged anyone to ctb nor do I think it will happen because they are very personal decisions and we all respect them.
