Would my CTB attempt be successful if I jump from a nearby dam which is about 45 m high? I've heard of people that jumped from the same height and survived. If I fail I might be paralyzed my whole life and chances to finally CTB would decrease a lot. So should I take the risk and go on CTB by jumping? I appreciate every advice!

I feel your pain. I've thought about things like this myself, visiting bridges close to me that I feel would make things so much easier. But the risk really is too great. I would never do it unless it was a pretty sure bet.

If you feel there's a great risk to fail then you shouldn't do it. I know life is hard, but being paralyzed will be a lot worse. When you're desperate and impulsive, it can lead to a lot of bad decisions.
