has anyone else considered just jumping? i plan on ctb next week. i tried hanging but failed, and this seems like my next best bet. i live in a city i'm just gonna get really fucked up and on a rooftop somewhere and just stumble my way off to paradise. knowing more people here plan to go a similar fashion will bring me some comfort in my last moments it's gonnna be tuesday or wensday i decided until than i'm gonna be binge drinking amongst other goodies (already started) to help get me in the right state of mind when that time comes. it's only the people here who know the real me and i feel connected with in the same way i'm glad i found this place it helps death seem less 'awkward' for me if that makes any sense ... well i'm gonna return to drinking and smoking now i love scary movies btw if anyone made it this far and wants to leave a good list for me to check out lmk this is how i'm gonna spend my days relaxing until than... may seem lame i'm lame(:

Jumping is one of my primary options to CTB. Also I believe it's one of the most painless ways to go. Good choice.

Horror movie? Try Last shift.. But you probably watched that already.

I was riding to school today and my eye fell on these huge tower cranes. Climbing in one can't be to hard. They might have alarm systems but just ignore that stuff. Climb at night. Some of these cranes are really large.

Jumping was my first choice before I learned of N.
I'm not sure I have it in me to jump from a tall building anymore as much as I want to CTB

Same for me. It's very short but insanely intense. I could climb a high tower crane tonight and jump. But something holds me.

Could never bring myself to do that as I have an intense fear of heights. That's a method for the bravest of the brave. Hope you succeed in whatever you choose:)

Now that it's winter where I live and cold & windy. For some reason I think it's make it harder to jump in these harsher condition being on a rooftop feeling the bitterness of the wind and freezing up there. Strangely, i think it's easier to jump during the summer... weird, huh?

just read about a suicide by jumping by a BYU student on monday, it looks like she only jumped from 4 stories. Although she didn't die upon impact and was taken to the hospital where she died today. I would only jump from 15 stories and above onto concrete. I hope she didn't suffer any pain...

I have seriously considered jumping at a lower height (8 stories) even today I considered it. Just walk from my job to the parking garage and go. I wonder if I would survive though. That would be awful.

I thought about jumping, I am scared of hitting an innocent below, or traumatizing someone who sees my death :/
Renting a hotel room with a balcony would be doable for me, is the idea to jump while drunk...or?

Yeah, i'd only jump like at 3am -4am where there would not be anyone below, hopefully. I think the idea of being drunk, is just so you'd have the courage to jump from a high height

Jumping is my primary option right now. It's like the one with the least hassle too, and if high enough it's a quick certain death. All we need is a little courage. I'm trying to partner up, if that doesn't work out before the end of this year, i'll jump from a tall bridge here in NYC :) Get a nice view of the city and harbor before jumping.

A part of me wants to jump also but fear holds me back, though the temptation is getting harder to hold. Wish I had someone to jump with. If I jump from a bridge into the thames, will that be a quick death? anyone know? thank you.

I've only heard of people being rescued from the Thames. Make sure you never jump from somewhere where you could survive with life-changing injuries. That's one of my biggest fears.

Indeed bro, thanks for the tip. I was thinking of doing this very early in the morning, perhaps 3-5am where there isn't really any lifeboats about, well not from what I have seen. But I fear the jump and that it won't kill me fast. So I agree.

No, but I've been there many times and I follow the UK news closely. Yeah, you really don't want to jump if it's too shallow to kill you. I'm also considering jumping if all else fails but this method does scare me a lot.

Make sure that the building is tall enough... 10m (~325 feet) at least... Only then it won't be painful and quick, as far as I know.. .

Good luck!

Btw, I want to jump too... I've picked the Tamina bridge:

I agree MsM3talGamer this method is hard to overcome the fear even if it kills very quick. I'm looking for a partner or pact. If you're looking for that also then I'm happy to talk you about it if you our up for it so we know each other better.

The height is good. But have you already thought how to get there. Probably only on foot, and bridges know for suicide attempts have probably higher security measures. Is the guardrail viable for people who pass by? You won't have any time to hesitate with this bridge.

I've been close to jumping once on a Dubai building 38 floors up. But someone came upstairs and didn't leave, after that the moment passed. I've attmped several times only with pills ODing. I'm thinking to order my SN this evening but so worried it won't work. So jumping would be the next best thing. Wishing you luck in whatever you decide to do x
