Because the deterioration from the health conditions it causes are usually long, drawn-out & painful, and not guaranteed to result in death. It may just force you to continue to live, but with more physical ailments. Liver/organ failure isn't a kind way to go.Why do so few ppl commit suicide or drink/drug themselves to death in this terrible world?
So, do you think Jim Morrison was a deeply unhappy person to drink that much?Because the deterioration from the health conditions it causes are usually slow, painful, and not guaranteed to result in death. Liver failure isn't a kind way to go.
Definitely. Alcohol numbs the pain, but once it wears off and you feel it start to return you down another bottle to stave it off. It's a seemingly endless cycle and it makes sense to die from it eventually. So, do you think Jim Morrison was a deeply unhappy person to drink that much?
Well, I must be deeply unhappy as well. I want to ctb at 21.Definitely. Alcohol numbs the pain, but once it wears off and you feel it start to return you down another bottle to stave it off. It's a seemingly endless cycle and it makes sense to die from it eventually.
I want to CTB at 24. Welcome to the Early Twenties club!Well, I must be deeply unhappy as well. I want to ctb at 21.
Jim also took a lot of LSD, and someone on SS said they were surprised he lasted so long. He used to take it five times a day. What is it about LSD that makes it so dangerous?I want to CTB at 24. Welcome to the Early Twenties club!
It only goes downhill from here unfortunately. If what are supposed to be the best years of our lives instead fill us with dread, then just what exactly do our futures hold in store for us? It makes me tremble to think about.
I wouldn't know, I've never tried it. I guess maybe you gradually start to lose touch with reality altogether? But that's just a thought with no evidence backing it.Jim also took a lot of LSD, and someone on SS said they were surprised he lasted so long. He used to take it five times a day. All I know is that the universe is a very strange place and nothing makes sense.I wouldn't know, I've never tried it. I guess maybe you gradually start to lose touch with reality altogether? But that's just a thought with no evidence backing it.
That, you are correct. All I know is that the universe is a very strange place and nothing makes sense.
"According to people who grew up with Jim Morrison he started showing up to school drunk at the age of 12 or 13."He was drinking since he was seven??![]()
He got started nice and early it seems."According to people who grew up with Jim Morrison he started showing up to school drunk at the age of 12 or 13."
He also wanted to have sex with his mother…I also share Jim's point of view about life. And he's right in many things he wrote in his lyrics. "The End" for example, my fav. Can't remember if he said he wanted to die young. Some people live too fast. By the way, I'm near my 30s and I think I've experience enough of life. I have nothing left to offer to this world.
I get this even with abstinence breaks between alcohol binges. Nothing really excites me other than you guessed it: the next binge. Basically I can see why I was an everyday drinker for so many years. I also did the odd shroom trip back in the day but not so regularly. You wont be able to see anything besides a loop, you will wonder why you wake up the next day because the structure of the day, no matter how many 'surprises' you might anticipate, will not excite you anymore. Your vitality will deplete until you go insane and decide to exit.
