My method is also hanging (though full suspension). Wouldn't do a forest because it's too risky. Plus I don't know any forests around here that people don't live in... OP could be in that situation. Just easier to do at home or in a hotel.

That is why it is a good idea to fork out the extra money for a cottage on the hotel grounds if one plans to ctb by hanging. Cottages have a bit more privacy: no shared walls.

Partial suspension is my method as well. Also thinking about a hotel as that way one has guaranteed privacy for a predetermined amount of time. Can be more than 24 hrs if you use the do not disturb sign.

Anyway, I think a hotel is a good idea because you will be found by strangers. I'd feel bad for them though. I'm planning to use argon in my car, I still haven't figured out how to contact emergency services after I'm dead so that a trained paramedic finds my body not some poor sap.
