• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

It would be easier on family if they thought it was an accident. And some have life insurance to consider.

But trying to think of something that's convincing, sure to be lethal, and won't hurt anyone else is difficult.

Anyone else thought about this?

The police are not fools. They will figure it out.
Your family will not be less sad because it was an "accident".

Drug overdose is only one I can think of that could seem completely accidental. Otherwise I've seen cases where purposeful suicides areviewed as accidental by the family, because the person was not in their right mind(trips/drug abuse).

Definitely doesn't seem like you should sacrifice your comfort/reliability for your family, as Worndown mentioned they will be very hurt either way. Overdosing on drugs still signals a very troubled person which would not affect the family less than a clear suicide.

Whatever attempt you choose has to be consistent with a previous pattern of behaviour. For example, if you want to make you death look like an overdose, but your family know that you don't take hard drugs, then they will suspect a suicide.

Same with firearms - if your family knows you like to shoot guns, then you could pass a CTB by firearm off as an accident.

I can't think of any other method that would not be extremly painful and grisly (e.g. a car accident) or embarassing (e.g. making a CTB by hanging look like an accidental death from auto-erotic asphyxiation.)

It goes without saying that if you have a history of mental illness or CTB attempts, your family and the police will suspect suicide no matter what.

I think CO would be the best way to make it look like an accident… aside from some less peaceful methods. People ctb by accident this way sometimes but I think it would be hard to know whether or not it would be ruled an accident or suicide.

Yeah. Swb with no drugs, wonder if ether would suffice or if it would be traceable.
Drugs are almost always traceable.

If it would suffice? There are people dying of it. There is no way to tell if it was an accident or not…

*Ether....not either. If Ether
would suffice, to induce unconsciousness. If Ether is traceable.

It's hard to find something cheap, easy to find, and easy to do. You have to sacrifice one at least
