• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Just like. Our society is so totally fucked up that some heinous criminals can get peaceful deaths. But people who are innocent and just living miserable lives or are chronically but not terminally ill can't???

Like where is the logic in that? What the absolute backwards fuck?

People bring up the peaceful death for pets example often but this one really really fucks with me.

I wish I was Canadian and could get MAID. I fucking hate it here.

well, if its any consolation, lethal injection is reportedly incredibly painful (when survived, so, maybe its different if you actually die tbf) and the electric chair is even worse.

It does help a little. But idk. The backwardsness of this world will forever be too much for me.

I hope when I die if there's an afterlife, I don't have to spend it around the dumbass humans who make and truly believe in this piece of shit world. Or maybe any humans at all, to be safe.

Peaceful? They typically wait 15 or 40 years on death row before they get removed from the living, if ever.
You have a greater chance of being gone before they go.

Similarly, it's estimated that about 4% of people, 1 out of 25 people, on death row are innocent. People that want to live and have committed no crimes are condemned to death simply because the state calls for it. It goes against the exact principle this site is for, which is pro-choice, not pro-euthanasia of people the state decides to kill. People try to strawman MAiD in Canada or Switzerland as being for this purpose when it's not, it's for people who wish to end their lives when they have whittling reasons to live, it's a pro-choice framework that doesn't prolong people's suffering but doesn't force those unwilling into it.

It truly is such terrible extreme cruelty to me, there's just so much cruelty in how painless death is denied with the suffering and torture of existing seen as to force and prolong no matter what, to suffer in this torturous existence where there is no limit as to how much agony one can feel will always feel like the most terrible punishment to me.

This existence truly never should had been imposed, all that existence does is just causes harm and suffering and I find it horrific how the torture of existing can continue for decades longer just for one to face the extreme agony of old age, I only envy those who no longer suffer in this painful existence, to me the only fortunate ones are those at peace from the terrible torture of existing.
