I decided to take a stroll today. I may be self sabotaging myself into suicide, but I figure I would still make an effort to be active.
I took a stroll to my nearby dog park. While there I saw a person with a dog. They allowed me t play fetch and me and the owner struck up a small conversation. Afterwards I decided to stroll elsewhere in the park. However, my mind was still fixated on that first dog. I decide to go back, only to find that it was staying around a group of people. The owner, another lady, 3 guys, and 3 small boys. Perhaps it was a large family or family and friends. Nonetheless they allowed me to stay for 2 hours playing with their dog. The owner was even nice enough to ask if I wanted some food (they were having a picnic) but I declined. Even the children came to me and chatted a bit. I felt connected. I don't know these people, but I felt like I belonged. We eventually parted ways but I don't think I'll ever forget them.
