I have absolutely nothing left to live since August of this year. Since 11 September 2025,I really wanted to die.

But still I donot kill myself. I just sleep all day and night. I simply donot have the energy to do anything in life. I barely get out of bed for 2 hours each day.

I feel a dread thinking about the full suspension hanging method. SN method is out of reach as parents have taken my SN 3 times and they search my room each day. Eating aluminum phosphide tablets also seem a lot painful method.

Is these things that I experience are survival instincts or survival instincts are something else?

I don't think it's survival instinct, you just have low energy due to depression and whatever trauma you have. It's quite a common phenomenon actually, as lots of suicidal people commit when they are feeling a bit better, because they have more energy to plan and prepare.

No. SI is standing at the edge of a cliff and not being able to jump, or holding a gun to the side of your head and not being able to squeeze the trigger. There's a distinction between actually "trying" a method (but ultimately unable to carry it out at the point of no return) versus just merely "thinking" about methods and discounting them in your mind.
