Nembutal I'd imagine. I'm just too much of a pussy to take it. Apparently with the eight regme it's a 20m painless death.

As for Nembutal I thought so too but now I have my doubts...From the attachment below " about 25 percent of the users survive for between two hours and four days"

Yes there are. Jumping from +100m onto hard surface, decapitation, head on train tracks approach, shotgun blast to the brain, you name it. Those methods are not peaceful and messy as hell, but gets the job done.

As for shotgun blast to the head I hate to break it to you but there are survivors with maimed faces... 
Maybe it is not exactly "being a vegetable" but I would say it is pretty close...
For example this man, but I saw even worse maiming...

Best bet would be to combine several different methods, e.g. drink Nembutal and shoot oneself in the head while jumping off a building.As for shotgun blast to the head I hate to break it to you but there are survivors with maimed faces...

To the brain, not to the face. There is a difference you know. This man just screw up, but when thing is done properly there are almost no chances of survival.
To be honest, there always a slight slight slight chance something or someone screw up and you will become a vegetable, that's just the way our Universe works, nothing can be 100% certain apart from death that we all are looking for.

I mean something radical enough to completely destroy your tissues. An acid bath. Or those fancy corpse shredders they use in slaughterhouses. Until your body exists there is a tiny chance of survival.
If you keep yourself well-informed about your method this chance would be really, really low. Many of those people survived because of lack of proper knowledge.

i don't suppose you're in the UK? we have the option to arrange 'advance decisions' and refuse life-sustaining medical treatment.
No method is 100%.
People have survived being hit by a train, 438 days at sea, survived plane crashes, survived falls from 47 stories, survived being shot in the head.. one Japanese has even survived 2 atomic bomb attacks!
There is always a small element of failure regardless which ever method. It's the risk that comes with CTB. Also the human body's will to survive sometimes is mind boggling.

Me. I'm planning to jump from the mountain or hanging on a tree or drowning on the water, still don't know the final method but I'm doing it the next week as I'm traveling to another country with good amount of money I'll have some days of peace and then boom I'll not be here anymore. that what I wish

Thats why suicide should be legal and authorized properly by the government so people dont risk failing like they do. But no method is vegetable proof. Best you can do is just do methods that have a high success rate. Hanging, nembutal, etc.

As for decapitation there is an article about the possibility of brain being conscious after the head is severed...

Goddamn! thats crazy. I mean there are guaranteed death scenarios. But painless is another story. Once thing i will say and from my own experience. Hanging felt like one of the best ways to go. It wasnt painless but it didnt hurt that much. It hurts for a few seconds then its like i black out asleep.

2 : Guns (but you have to really know where to put the aim).
3 : Jump from a really high bridge unto water at some empty place, so if you don't die from the jump you die from drowning.
Actually we have no proof that the brain remain conscious after decapitation. Just that there are some behavioral signs of life still shown.
It's absolutely not the same thing, the same way someone in a coma/deep sleep may move his finger without being aware/conscious of doing it.
Also no suicide method is perfect, i'd take being alive for some seconds after decapitation with a guarantee to die on a heartbeat over more failure prone methods like hanging.
Nembutal and jumping from high ground are still my preferable solutions. But i don't see the big deal with reamining alive for some seconds, the perfect method doesn't exist, for those of us set on dying we just have to find the less shitty methods. And i'd say that a method with 100% lethality but "13 seconds where you may be have some form of consciousness" isn't that bad compared to the alternatives, like ending as a vegetable for your whole life, or for me remaining alive for one more year.

i don't know but i would speculate that he may not have sought an advance decision, which needs to be witnessed to be valid. also whilst the option to refuse life-sustaining treatment is available to him, the option of actually having his life ended for him isn't, as that would fall under assisted suicide.
i'm not citing this as a way to 100% bypass the worst possible outcome of an attempt, but just an additional measure those who are living in the UK can take
