• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

What do we really know about this poison? How painful is ingesting it?

More than SN but less than SC. Supposedly worst migrain you'll ever have and body aches and tremors and other scary shit
Dose needed is lesser than SN and the regime is same. Faster acting even. No chance of failure.

You live in Poland, as i remember ,so there it shouldn't be a problem to obtain SN which is as far as I know just better option.

But I'm not an expert. Haven't tried any of methods yet as you can see ;))
I'm from Poland too btw

Just stating the fact that car airbag contains up to 50g sodium azide that I imagine could be obtained from junkyard but not sure about that. What I wonder is how is it not converted to sodium hydroxide when ingested?

^ it's converted to hydrazoic acid when mixed with stomach acid, which is explosive at room temperature.

I did a thread on the biochemistry of SN:

With SN, there is a lack of oxygen delivered to the tissues. It's a slower process, but it eventually leads to lactic acidosis and cell death.

With SA, from my understanding, it prevents cells from using oxygen for their metabolic processes. It affects the brain and heart the most. I don't know if you're awake when cells start dying, but I know you get a really bad headache.

How long does it take for a successful attempt? I mean it is not painless and less peaceful but if it is just a short time and someone really wants to ctb it can be a better option.

The ppeh says loss of consciousness is in 30 minutes, and time of death is an hour or more

Nope. It is closer to cyanide poisoning than to SN. Don't be fooled by the fact that they both start with sodium. Sodium is one of the whores of the chemical world - it bonds with anything.

And it's gonna hurt, full stop.

There is also a danger to first responders if they try to revive you by mouth-to-mouth. The hydrazoic acid created in your system can be inhaled by your rescuer and cause them to be poisoned. Wear a sign around your neck.

Most of literature gives time to death estimates at more than an hour - some several days - although loss of consciousness happens sooner.

Ironically, nitrates , including SN, can be given as an antidote to Sodium Azide poisoning. They do not usually work.

The worry is that people do occasionally survive, but often with neurological damage. Most of the few who survive were exposed to the chemical in a lab or factory setting over a period of time, This is one chemical where taking enough and taking it quickly is imperative.
(Edited for clarity.)

While I don't think I'd ever consider this method based on everything else everyone is saying, this is genuinely something I never would have thought about or considered, thanks so much for sharing the info!
