Is SN still potent?

I bought some SN from the jungle last year. I have opened the jar twice. Now I am worried that it may not be potent any more. Can anyone advise?

That's a grey area. YOu can try the blood test t make sure your blood turns brown, and I have heard that the aquarium test is unreliable. It might take a chemistry student of professional to answer further- if there might be another way to test.

As said above, try the blood test. From the little discussion I've read, apparently just opening it to air a few times shouldn't destroy it though?

I think you literally just mix some with your blood and it should change color to brown? I have not done it but this is what I've picked up, I would use the search function on the forum to confirm. You can also google stan's guide here on the forum if the search function is not working.

I don't know if I would chance it because there's other sources like IC, so one can always get more. But in my situation my mood changes and right now as I'm writing this I'm feeling neutral. In my worse times I'd chance it and be done with it, it's probably still good to go. So basically, I think it's most likely fine but if you can wait, you don't lose much by buying new SN.

Whether I would chance it or not would dpeend on my situation- could I order more, do I have other methods, how soon do I need to leave? YOu really need to weigh all options. You might get very sick and not ctb, and then get hospitalized against your will for a couple weeks if it doesn't work.

I'd buy new SN just to be safe. It's only like $25.00 for 100g and shipping is free. This time don't open it until just before you plan to use it. It is only supposed to be good for three months after opening although I have heard that it keeps much longer from other sources. Why take the risk?

Mine is still in it's jar opened once and I've had it since last April. I think it's fine, I'm going to end up using it either way I guess.
