i found this website it sells the product but it notes that hazardous or dangerous goods is not sold to individuals . Any german here??

Maybe they mean salt for curing is not allowed to exceed 0.5% not that salt is not allowed in general?
PS: The use of nitrite is regulated by law in Germany. Nitrite is not sold neat. Confirmed
