I've noticed the PPH cautions the individual who vomits to try to bring up as much of the remainder as possible and abandon the attempt. This seems like complete folly to me, given that a small amount of SN can do you in, and you'd have no ability to gauge if you were able to force-vomit the rest out. Further, if one is not incapacitated enough that he/she can try to make him/herself vomit, why wouldn't they advise you just take another dose? More than the feeling of pain and the approach to complete nothingness, the fear of failure (vomiting up too much as to make the dose ineffective, and then being unable to keep down or dose a second time) really is on my mind all the time.
