My debts by far outweigh my savings and I'm at my limit with my job. I do have enough in my line of credit and whatnot that I could go somewhere nice in California, vibe for 3+ weeks, and then take SN when I run out of money.

To me this is the entire point of CTB'ing. I'm 28, estranged from my parents, and single, and I find figuring out the rest of my life to be more stressful than it is worth. A few fun weeks sounds better than many years of suffering with no guarantee of fun in sight.

Still, conventional wisdom says a fun few weeks could have me getting a little too fond of this whole living thing, and that I could just wind up alive but in an even bigger financial hole with more problems than before. Is it a bad idea to try this? I worry I'm a bit too optimistic for a CTB'er.
