polypropilene 8 mm. bought in chinese shop.

Method will be partial using a door.

And I hace another question... it is common to make a passage on the top of the door to make the rope pass without getting jammed? because I don't trust that the rope is not going to be cut by the door.. (Speacially if the rope is thicker than this one)

For the rope think you would need to make a small valley in the door using a shim. I've shimmed doors and it's hard so expect this to take some time. Actually I think it's called a shim file? Basically it's a metal thing that looks like a heavy duty cheese grater.

Jesus no it's called a planer. Sorry I'm really tired. You need to be mindful of going in the direction of the wood grain so the door doesn't start to splinter.

Not that I'm aware of. Shaving down wood is pretty difficult to do by hand, even with this tool. The cheapest I see online is around $12

oh it is so annoying... then I think I will choose the fitness bar option.

Do you think my rope is good enought or I should find another more appropriate one.

There was a megathead about hanging, mostly a partial one. As far as I remember, the best choice is some BDSM rope in this case.

@AMATERASU :-) The thickness of the rope should be around the same size as the thickness of your thumb.

I don't know about ropes. I'm beginning to rethink hanging as a method. It's probably just because SN is so favored here but I'm concerned about technique.
