I don't think misery is avoidable in life. human life involves misery, whether it be short-term or long-term.

Misery is the shadow that lingers at the edges of existence, touching every life in some form. It is the ache of unmet needs, the weight of relentless struggles, and the quiet despair of dreams deferred. It pervades the human experience, threading through fleeting moments of joy, as if to remind us that contentment is fragile and transient.

It comes in countless forms: the physical pain of illness, the emotional toll of loneliness, the existential dread of life's meaning—or lack thereof. Misery is universal, yet deeply personal; shared by all, yet uniquely carried.

Some find ways to navigate its depths, finding strength in resilience or purpose in helping others. For others, misery becomes an unbearable burden, an unyielding force that drains color and hope from life.

Perhaps the greatest cruelty of misery is its inevitability, an inescapable thread woven into the fabric of existence. But even within this grim truth, humanity clings to slivers of light: moments of connection, the beauty of a fleeting sunset, or the solace of being understood.
