Is it possible to orchestrate your own assassination?

I know how ridiculous this might sound and i already saw replies to similar posts that said it's a bad idea.
But. I considered many ways to kill myself and this one is better than others by a long shot for me personally.
I don't want to upset any people that i know with the fact that i killed myself because i know they don't deserve this.
So i thought that i needed it to look like i died by accident or more generally "something i could not control".
So after considering every"looking like an accident" method being murdered by someone else is the best choice for me.
So unless you've got anything better to suggest .....

..... please give some advices on how to properly arrange it to minimize all the risks. Thank you in advance.

I guess it's possible and it has run through my head too- but all I can think of are the problems with it:

Do you really think your family would be any happier believing that you had been murdered? People get murdered for a reason- unless it's a robery gone wrong, maybe they'll start to wonder if you were in to anything dodgy. (I don't know if that would trouble you...)

There's BOUND to be an investigation. Firstly- I'm not sure how willing someone would be to kill you in the first place- if they could be jailed for life. Plus- you're family have all that uncertainty while the investigation is going on. The police may even suspect them- a lot of murders are carried out by someone you know.

Even if you found someone- not sure how you'd be sure they were a humane hit man rather than a sadistic psychopath. It's not really like you could report them if you started to get worried.

Unless you cover your tracks INCREDIBLY well- I imagine they will be able to find out that you hired them. You'll need to pay them a lot- you'll need to find them and you'll presumably need to be at a place at a certain time- unless they agree to come to you. I imagine all these things will leave a trail- plus- this post you've just made here... It likely depends a lot on how much they decide to investigate but I would have thought it would all come to light anyway.

Sorry- I know that's not very supportive. I think I did read here of someone who's friend had managed it- and they wanted to try it too. Maybe have a go at searching and see what comes up...

If you get involved with some shady dangerous criminal people and make them upset to the point they want to take you out then it might be possible, but that would take a lot of work and effort.

The only person I know who has been murdered was killed gruesomely over a drug debt. Certain parts of him were cut off and stuck inside certain orifices by two men, his former friends, who were themselves under the influence during the act. Three junkies, one car one knife sounds like one of the worse ways to go.
