Is it possible to overdose on melatonin and can you die from an overdose? If you can die, what's the fatal dosage?

I tried it once when I had no knowledge about it, didn't do anything and didn't even make me sleepy. Took 30 melatonin pills. Found out later that day that it's not lethal and can't kill you when googling it and talking to my doctor.

So on it's own, it is not possible to die from melatonin. Maybe if you mixed it with something or to use it as a tool to help you get sleepy, but it would not be the cause of death.

Someone offered you a gravel truck filled to capacity with melatonin pills and said you could ctb with it? This has never happened to me.
