now I'm stable, trying to recover as much as I can, i left my family and I feel better, doesn't mean I'm recovered but at least better but I just see nothing to fight for, the things I wanted in the future are no longer are a choice, i don't wanna live just for the sake of living, I don't care if people are having it worse or im better than other people, I just simply value death more than life now.

Long term apathy could definitely strain will to live. Have you seen a therapist, counselor, and/or psychiatrist to talk about it? Think of what you want from life. Get rid of anyone forcing you down, and pursue anything. Travel, sports, cooking, etc. If you truly can't just feel nothing for life, and nothing's helping you, then for sure, yes it's okay. Why live if it's worse then nothingness? Good luck.

Thats my boat now. I can deal with the emotional pain. I just have no reason to. Nothing to look towards and be like "that makes the suffering worth it."

So is it okay? I think that question is moot. What makes things right or wrong depends on the vision of the world you desire. There is no universal morality that people can understand.

Do I sympathize? Heck yeah I do.

There is a condition called anhedonia, a symptom of depression where you no longer enjoy things. Supposedly, this can be remedied with antidepressents. If you think this is what you have, I would say it is worth trying before you quit. Might as well exhaust all options. This is a condition I have.

Yes I would have to say. But what if we are simply reborn into this world again free from memories. I fear this will happen.

Hello,
I heard about the cases when you simply don't want to live anymore.
Some people are merely tired of life. There was one person who came to place like Dignitas (was it Dignitas?) being 104 and said he is just tired of life.
There actually can be many reasons why you want to cease your existence, but You and only You can determine if they are significant enough to CTB.

This is your life. This is your choice.

There is a lot of people feeling the way you feel. We are supposed to love life but for some of us it's just not possible. Losing people we love, not being good looking enough to be loved, having health or money issues, having a shitty job and no possibility to change it... Sometimes it takes you down and won't let you rise again because it's something you carry on your mind all the time.
You can't compare your sufferings with some else's. If it's hard to live and if there is no hope for a better future, why should we stay?
I decided to ctb a long time ago, only my dog kept me away from death because I didn't want to leave him behind (he was my world). Sadly he died few weeks ago. Now I can ctb, I'm just waiting to find the best way to do it, and I will leave with absolutely no regrets at all. This will be the best day of my life.

If you feel that strongly then yes that is a good enough reason. Only you can decide what is best for you when it comes to ctb. With that said I'm sending you hugs

I think it's a valid reason, and what may seem trivial to people may be a big thing to someone else and vice versa. I don't think it's irrational and if you feel that way it's valid because overall, in my philosophy, life is meaningless itself and we (human beings) give, assign value and meaning to it to make it meaningful. But objectively speaking, yes life itself is just an involuntary state of imposition thrust upon any living thing. Religion was invented to add meaning into people's lives because people couldn't cope with the idea of 'nothingness' and also the unknown.

That's deep. Makes you think.

If you are interested in life, you are. If you aren't, you aren't. There's no external principle that says what you should or shouldn't want.
