I am thinking about suicide, but I want that nobody find my body after suicide. Do you have any good ideas how to do this?

This is what I plan to accomplish too. But in today's modern world, this is not an easy feat to pull off. Your best bet is to travel far far away, preferably out of the country, all the way to the pristine wilderness. Dispose all of your identification and ctb with your chosen method.

The catch is, you cannot predict what's going to happen on the way of the journey. So many things can go wrong. You might get attacked or robbed somewhere, ruining your perfectly crafted plan. It's a very risky endeavor for sure.

Yes, I am thinking about wilderness too. But perhaps Japan Aokigahara would be good choice? No animals, and they will burn body after finding (if found of course)

I'm also hoping my body won't be found. My plan is to drown, although I wouldn't recommend this method as it's not peaceful.

But how to get there? Private boat is very expensive. Also you need have a license to travel alone. Jump from cruise lainer not a good idea but it will looks like suicide.

It depends on your priorities. It might be easier for your family/friends to know that you're dead because of the body that is found. If you dissapear completely, it might cause a painful rollercoaster for your people because there is no certainity that you'll ever appear again. So they'll keep hoping that you come back but you never will. Nobody knows what happened to you. That can be very depressing for them. Even more depressing than knowing that you catched the bus, I think.

So it depends on your priorities. If it's possible to dissapear like this? I'm not sure.

I dont think it is a good idea to just disappear because you will bring lots of worry and trouble to a lot of people who will be looking for you. look what happened with Atsumi Yoshikubo, the Japanese psychiatrist, who intentionally got lost in the Canadian Taiga

Drown yourself in a soda bath
More seriously, I think disapearing during a hike is a good means, especially if you don't tell were you go and catch the bus far away from the paths.

Here's how i think it will work for me. I'm at an advantage with no family at all, and few friends. So it will take a bit of time for me to be missed. I've got a pack with vodka, cord, a machete and a shovel. And my pistol - legally obtained and carried. Take an Uber to drop off point then hike six miles into a "no trespassing" area. Dig hole (shovel and machete), construct cover for hole, achieve a blood alcohol level, jump into the hole, pull the cover over (cord), and pull the trigger. Gone.
I prefer this approach since I want to use a firearm for speed and effectiveness, and I don't want to leave a mess. Also, if there's a body there's a funeral which is the last thing i want.

I understand your point of view, but some of us are in unusual situations. For example, I have had no contact with my family in over 25 years. Imagine their reaction to finding out I was alive all this time and then being told I was dead.

Thank you for answer. But in my country suicide is the black mark for my faily for all life. Of course I'll write letter with asking not to looking for me.
