I got cheated and also lost my job last month, I'm about 21, I'm lacking interest in anything, I cant convince myself to keep trying, either it be job interviews or life, I feel like I have accepted defeat, I keep procrastinating doing nothing at all, staying in isolation, my head hurts too.Do y'all think, these are valid reasons for ctb?

I don't really think I understand the question as after all when to cease existing is a personal decision that can be only made by the individual. I don't get what's so beneficial and valuable about existing to the point that choosing to leave needs to be justified with reasons, none of us are obligated to continue existing after all, and anyway death will happen someday whether there is a reason behind it or not, death is the most normal, inevitable thing, it's up to you when that will be.

Mate, if you still have hope you can still try. What happened to you fucking sucks, but there are more jobs to get and relationships to be had. Grieve the losses you experienced here but try to get back up. It's horrible but not all is lost. I hate saying reasons aren't valid, so I am not going to because that's different for everyone but I do believe you can become better and get back up.

Your reasons are valid, but you should wait if you still have hope. I hope things work out for you.

I would give myself one final push, before I quit, maybe a month, I dont expect any turnaround, Idk I keep making excuses for ctb, I feel I rather die, my mind is fucked. It doesnt let me even try.

A lot of people that I've seen use the first breakup to fuel them. Many join the gym or take on the grind to start a business. Many also just let time heal the wounds. At 21 I would say that you should definitely try using it a source of strength and push forward. Maybe even get a therapist? It might seem like its over right now, but give it some time for the dust to settle in. A lot of people seem to me like they give up too soon. If it doesn't get any better after a year or two or three down the line then you could go down the path you are thinking of going right now. That is at least my framework of thinking... I've tried over and over again personally for many years and it seems like its over for me, but maybe its not for you. CTB is the last decision after all so at least give life a shot for a few more years. You can always come back.

Does there really have to be a timeline but i suppose there could be.

Things haven't been good for me for more than a decade now so I'm definitely on my way out. Just more pointless, endless struggles so I'm checking out and things have been going downhill each year so why not just cut it short.

Because time does objectively and scientifically help "heal the wounds". Your mental state changes whether you want it or not. It changes when you leave your room, go in nature or when you go to a bar. It definitely changes big time when a significant amount of time passes. It COULD help him heal from his breakup, but it is definitely NOT a guarantee. Push through 2024/2025 and see how you feel. Might seem hopeless right now, but majority of the time people eventually find something that they care about (whether its a person, a hobby or something else).

Give it a shot. You can always wait a bit and then CTB, but you can't CTB and half way through decide that you want to turn back and give it a chance. If those 1-2 years pass and you are still dead set on doing it then go ahead. It didn't work for me, but I told one buddy with whom I chatted on here and it worked for him. He found his crutch to push on.

I don't think so honestly. Not saying you aren't in pain but there is a path forward for you imo

Sorry but I've been too committed to ctb so I only have one end objective in mind but I understand where you are coming from. I've already waited for a few years now, went in and out of ideation with methods that didn't go anywhere in any serious application. Waiting a bit just does nothing at all, for me, anyway.

Plus I already have all the items needed to go through with it and waiting for any amount of time for "something" like a crutch to keep going is something that I would've pondered on when I was gathering all the items I needed but it didn't stop me then so it won't now either.

I've become adept and still being the same no matter where I go, bar, nature, restaurant, you name it. The scene doesn't change a thing because there's always this part of me that is hidden.

It definitely could. Going that far is just too much time for me to just wait in all honesty, 2024/25 is too far for what's happened already. I have hobbies but it did nothing for me, I have relationships I'd consider personal to some degree but it never stopped me either. I've never been determined at something to see it out.
