This has always stumped me too. I mean, I'm sure there are ways to go about it that are *less* painful than others, but ultimately there have to be better options out there (at least imo).breaking your neck or painful strangulation doesnt sound peaceful to me, but i read its number 1 method in most countries in the west
If you don't mind me asking, I apologize if I'm being too forward, but what physical consequences did you suffer from your 2 hanging attempts?I think it's quite popular because you only need a rope, necktie, etc.
Still, it's a very dangerous method because you could get permanent brain damage.
I tried it twice so I sucked at it. Fortunately, no brain damage for me.

Just want to get a feel of the potential ramifications of a failed attempt from someone who's experienced it first-hand.
Thank you in advance & again I apologize if I'm being too forward.
same. I passed out but got found right before I would've had bad brain damage.I think it's quite popular because you only need a rope, necktie, etc.

hanging is very successful as long as you're alone for 30 minutes and you do it rightI'd prefer another method which has less consequence if I fail, but I've got a noose ready under my bed just in case
I also tried to hang myself twice, partially, it will be my ctb method, along with some benzos.Hi! Don't worry about it. You can ask me anything.
My consequences, fortunately, were only neck pain! I have a neck pain which lasted over a week! I don't if this is normal but it's what happen to me. also, when I was trying to hang myself, I felt as if my head was about to explode! It was horrifying!!
I never understood partial hanging. doesn't your body's instincts fight it?I also tried to hang myself twice, partially, it will be my ctb method, along with some benzos.
I've got a book about Albert pierpoint and he's got a guide to height/weight and length of rope. I know what length I'd need to get the job done off his measurementsI am hoping to do full suspension hanging. I think the most discomfort would be the feeling of the rope digging into your neck, but if done right you would only notice this for a few seconds.
Been thinking of hanging yes .but i definitely need something to knock me out before .was thinking of chloroformI am hoping to do full suspension hanging.
