I'm answering my doubt..
After searching somethings about it
In PPeH- Anti-emetic regimen is not mentioned.. it was mentioned to take stat dose.(page-223)
In Five last acts- its mentioned to follow Anti-emetic regimen for 24 hours(if you choose to)....it was stated there "
it helps to get it properly into the system" (page-365)
en.m.wikibooks.org
I have seen few users here also have followed anti-emetic regimen for ami cocktail.
May be its better to follow the regimen to keep things down properly.
I may choose..
Dr.admiraal's preferred dosage in wiki books AE regimen
10 mg for every 8hours(for 36 hours)
This order is mentioned in Five last acts:
Cimetidine
Meto
Amitriptyline
Benzos
i don't think that throwing up is that much of an issue with amitriptyline compared to other methods, the meto is used mostly as a potentiator since it helps with your stomach moving its content faster and amitriptyline is mostly absorbed by the intestines and then metabolized in the liver.
and as for the order, i'm also looking for it, but it seems that you take the amitriptyline first, then the benzos and alcohol. do you have the link to the article on wikibooks? doesn't work for me for some reason.
Meto may act well as a potentiator.. but it plays big role in keeping things down.. without puking. Afterall that is the only anti-emetic being used here.
And throwing up is always a big problem when planning to keeping drugs down..
especially with the amount of drugs used for these cocktails..i think its really a big problem to keep all of them down without throwing up. And I think meto helps a imp role in helping with that.
I wrote the order mentioned in 'The five last acts' in my post above..i saw that recently.
Ami cocktail on wikibooks is taken down unfortunately for various reasons.see it under 'Background' in this link.

I wish someone knew the order from the wiki.. i forgot that.
Just to double check.
But ash has a page on ami cocktail saved from wiki... but that is a outdated version.
