Is a 6mm rope good?

Any size will do as long as it can hold up your weight without breaking. It just depends on how painful you want to CTB. A thicker and wider rope will distribute the weight more evenly around your neck and take the discomfort off your neck more.

I watch Indian people CTB quite often on snuff/gore sites via hanging and they often do not use ropes, but use a very long piece of cloth, it seems to distribute the weight very evenly across the neck and makes for a comfortable passing.

But isn't wider and thicker also more difficult to actually kill you?

I'm going with 8mm rope if my co plan fails. Anything smaller than that supposedly cause pain since it's thinner. I don't know about thicker than 12mm because it makes it harder to compress the arteries in the neck.

I'm not afraid of the pain as long as it kills me. That's all i need. And yeah i have no ropes besides this one, either that or I'll have to buy a rope tomorrow.
