I mean I guess what else would you do with it? If you don't feel it's enough you can buy a gift (or gifts) instead to leave behind for them

I'm of the mindset that something is better than nothing. $100 is a lot of money honestly, even if it doesn't feel like it. It can go a long way, even just emotionally that you were still thinking of the person you leave it to.

I'd withdraw and leave everything I have in my account for others just in case the bank would try to snatch it

I think it is a subjective question, and the answer would be up to the individual to decide if it's worth it or not. If they find it to be charitable, then sure, that could be a good idea for the survivors or the bereaved.

I think that's fine, it's a way of showing that you thought about them.

I have saved money for my cremation, I am not interested in a wake. I will say where it is in my farewell letter.

Yeah, a kind gesture is a kind gesture and has greater value than the sum.

To me you don't owe anything to anyone for committing suicide. Tho since you are not going to be needing it as you will be dead, it can be nice to give what you have left to the ones who are still alive but you are not obligated to do that.

Maybe leave it somewhere safe with a posthumous email to alert them.

Cause I would think any cash would be confiscated or played with by police or others at the scene, it's not gonna get the honor treatment most likely.
