Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

One of the biggest fears that people don't understand is the horrifying fear of irrelevance. It is what drives more people to do terrible things than any other thought. It is far from a "jump scare" or "fear of death",it is the fear that makes a human feel that they must be alive but do not matter.

Our society thrives on this dichotomy. We work impossibly hard to become relevant to those around us or the world and the same society lives to find reasons to dismiss others.

Take a popular event such as a concert or sporting event. Far from inclusive, the event surrounds the few in the activity with the many but those many pay for the right to get in dismissing the many more outside. Then those who enter are ranked by where they sit, what access they have, even what bathrooms they may use, all to provide a sense of relevance.

Taking away that relevance leads to everything from terrorists fighting to be heard or bigotry believing that they are being replaced.

If you want to ensure a seething hatred, make someone irrelevant based on something they either believe in or that they can't control.

It is this fear of irrelevance that makes some people very angry about suicide. Suicide says "your moral and self appreciation values don't apply to me" and that makes the other feel irrelevant. Furthering the belief in choice and suicide drives this fear of irrelevance even further making the ones who fear commit to anything to maintain their relevance and beliefs.
